Sometimes we kiss

Sometimes we kiss
in candy coated seclusion,
and my cheeks take
to honeysuckle pink,
sometimes we kiss
and you turn my greens,
your ever changing hues.
Though when we kiss
on monarch wings,
it can only seem
that knees quiver,
as vibrant the colors
take their flimsy flight.
And you are good
but he is god,
and in his absolute love
there I find no solace,
yet somehow in you
I'm to assume just that.
Sometimes we kiss
and you hold me in pieces,
small parts, in rotating shifts.
Sometimes we kiss
but please don't mistake,
any moments bliss
for falling.
